About Us
The Office of Special Services directs and supports the development, implementation, operation, and evaluation of Pre K-12 educational programs, curricula, and services that meet the unique needs of students with disabilities. The office plans and offers professional development for staff and administrators. It also provides instructional leadership for, and supervision, coordination, and evaluation of early childhood, elementary, secondary, career and transition programs and services.
Our Mission
The mission of Special Services is to provide our students with a continuum of high quality education and related services that meets their unique needs and ensures that they gain the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to go to the college, pursue 21st Century careers, and become independent and productive citizens.
