Transfer Requests

D2 Parents, Guardians, and Employees,

The transfer request window for the 2026-2027 school year will be from Monday, March 2, 2026 through Friday, May 1, 2026 at 5PM.

Decision letters for all students that applied during the transfer window will be mailed the week of May 25, 2026. If you do not receive a letter via US Mail by the end of May, send an email to [email protected] stating your name, child(ren)’s name, phone number, and the requested school. (Employees will receive their decision letters via their school district email address)

Students currently approved for a transfer, must submit a new request each year during the transfer window. A request must be submitted during this time to receive consideration for a transfer of schools. The portal for the 2026-27 school year will close at 5:00 PM on May 1, 2026.

When the next transfer window opens, the application link will be found below. Complete the application to request for your child to attend a school outside of your zoned attendance area.  Applications will be processed monthly.  For all questions, email [email protected]

Please note that transfers for students of non-district employees may be granted based on strict, need-based criteria, and are subject to denial based on school/building capacity.
