In a congratulatory letter to the school, Bob Bright, CEO of The National Beta Club, said, “This prestigious honor is a true indication of your dedication to academic excellence and commitment to celebrating your students' achievements.” Bright also commended RLMS for providing students with experiences in leadership development and service involvement, "...which strengthen and build their futures."

“ It makes me so proud that we have students achieving academic excellence at all grade levels here at Rainbow Lake, " Kimbrell said. "Our students work hard each day both in and out of the classroom and this award demonstrates this.”

“It is an honor to be named a school of merit," Hammett said. "All grade levels at our school have the opportunity to be recognized for their academic successes.”
